Containerboard is board paper used for containerboard boxes. Oji Paperboard Co.,Ltd., is the core company of the Oji Paper Group's containerboard material business, responds to our customers' various needs using our nationwide network of 11 factories and 5 sales branches, providing high volumes of containerboard, which is produced from recycled paper as a main ingredient, and other board paper products. Containerboard boxes account for 25% of the packaging material used in Japan. The containerboard used in these boxes consists of linerboards, which form the surfaces, and a corrugating medium sandwiched between the linerboards. Making use of the technological know-how and development strength fostered over long years in the Oji Paper Group, we are implementing "Forest recycling/Paper recycling" activities for re-afforestation and the intensive use of recycled paper.
