The Oji Paper Group Environmental Charter Organization for Execution

1. Corporate Officer and Organization in Charge
Assignment an corporate officers in charge of environmental issues, and establishment of the Environmental Management Department as the department with overall jurisdiction for environmental matters.

2. Implementation System
Establishment of an “Environmental Committee” with the officer in charge of environment issues as the chairman. Under this, creation of the “Forest Resource Subcommittee,” “Wastepaper Reuse Promotion Subcommittee, ” “Energy Subcommittee” and “Environmental Protection Subcommittee.”

3. Environmental Audit
Establishment of an “Environmental Audit Committee” with a representative of the Company president’s staff as committee chairman, and carrying out of periodic environmental audits of the operational circumstances of businesses related to the environment.
